Accessible at all levels, Guadeloupe will give you the opportunity to perform your baptism of diving in fabulous waters or to swim in the underwater depths.

Many diving centers are located not far from the best spots of the island offering excursions and discovery of the seabed.

Agenda of the day: visit of fantastic caves, passage in underwater tunnels, discovery of shipwrecks more or less well preserved, but also many species of colorful fish, beautiful coral reefs and, maybe, and a chance to swim with sea turtles. The show is present all year round.

Top sites to dive

Here are the best places to dive in Guadeloupe, accessible with your rental car:

• Port-Louis in northern Guadeloupe with its largest coral reef in the french West Indies. Discover the sites of ARCHES, for a wonderful dive, composed of a maze of arches and underwater corridors.

• A beautiful lagoon, at Saint-Francois, where the Atlantic ocean and the Caribbean Sea join. Several sites to discover, such as the Banc des Vaisseaux, Petite Terre or around the Pointe des Châteaux.

• Do not hesitate to take the boat in the town of Bouillante, direction, “Ilet Pigeon” where you will find the Cousteau Reserve, the famous reserve protected by UNESCO. Here you can admire many corals. A great place to put on your wetsuit and all your diving gear.
